Self Catering General Information
Smoking Policy : Please note that all properties are let on a strictly non-smoking accommodation basis only. Please respect this policy which is for the benefit of the majority of our guests.
Bedding : Pillows, downies and linen including bathroom sets, tea towels and oven gloves are provided. Towels are available for hire at £2 per set.
Extra Beds : Most properties are large enough to accommodate an extra fold down bed. This can be provided on request at £15 per week to be paid with the final balance.
Cots : These are available at £10 per week, but do not include bedding.
High Chairs : Available on request.
Breakfast Packs & Milk : On request we will supply milk and breakfast packs on the first day. The breakfast packs consist of tea, coffee, sugar, cereal, bread, butter and marmalade and cost approximately £10 to be paid with the final balance..
Kitchens : All cottages have modern kitchens with electric cooker, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, kettle, iron and ironing board, and first aid kit. Properties sleeping 6 or more also have a dishwasher and freezer.
Laundry : All accommodation properties have either a washing or separate washing and drying machines.
Fuel and power : Most properties have an open log fire and logs are provided free of charge. All properties have electric central heating and smoke alarms. Electricity is included between April and end September. From October to end March - £15 per week surcharge.
Dogs : Dogs are welcome on the understanding they are house trained and kept out of bedrooms. While on the estate dogs must be kept on a lead owing to the presence of sheep and cattle. There is an additional charge of £15 per week.
Information Packs : These are provided in each cottage.
Television : Each cottage has colour TV and video player.
Long Lets : Occasionally available during the winter months on application.
Directions : A copy of the directions will be sent with the receipt for your final payment.
Arrival : Accommodation is available from 1600, earlier by arrangement. Please inform us if you expect to arrive later than 1800.
Departure : On the day of departure please vacate the accommodation by 10:00 am.
Payment : By cheque or by credit card. Cheques are to be made payable to Cardross Holiday Homes.
