Attractions and Activities
Cardross Estate is ideally situated for visiting Central Scotland and The Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, and also allows day excursions to the east and west coasts of Scotland and north to the Scottish Highlands. The city of Stirling with its excellent castle and other historic monuments is only 20 minutes by car and Edinburgh and Glasgow are about an hour.
A car is essential for visiting the area, and may be hired in Stirling, Edinburgh or Glasgow. All three cities are served by train and motorways while Edinburgh and Glasgow have international airports approximately 45 minutes by car.
